Something about me and my work
Hi, I'm Marco from Italy.
I live in Pomezia, province of Rome. Art is not my main activity.
I don't pretend to be an artist, rather an amateur experimenter of different styles of expression.

I consider AI not as a creative tool but an expansive one.
This is how I work: I use AI in a subsidiary way.
I will try to explain myself better: the creative and productive process is entirely manual, with colors - especially watercolors, colored pencils, sometimes oil - on canvas or raw cardboard or raw fabric spread.
Then I digitize the image and submit it to the AI together with what can be called the "prompt" derived from the mind (or from my source of inspiration) and I obtain different results in graphic form. I almost always get suggestions that can complement the final model, and I use GIMP to make up for my technical shortcomings when necessary, because I don't have the extraordinary talent of Rembrandt or Tintoretto.
I must admit that many times the result leads me to have new ideas for later works (which 90% of the time are then discarded or put in a drawer waiting for maturity or final oblivion). For this reason, I define my use of AI as "oracular".
After all this finishing process, I am able to publish the result online. That's it.
Sometimes I publish works related to social, political, historical, philosophical themes both current and of the more or less remote past. Sometimes what I post describes my feelings, my life experiences and my opinions. However, my works do not always reflect my opinions because I also try to put myself in the shoes of those who do not have my point of view, but say something that gives me food for thought. Also, sometimes I try to visually put a phrase that strikes me in a book or the music in a song or even something I hear from other people's thoughts.
I would already be happy if someone was touched in some way by one of the images I post... or by some of the descriptive or evocative titles I give to my works.
Now I want to spend a few words to conclude this short biography: I thank all those famous or unknown artists who have given me so much aesthetic pleasure and, in some cases, even strong emotions during my life as a lover of the figurative arts. And I also thank those who encouraged me by showing appreciation for my attempts to express and share fragments of feelings. Thank you for coming this far, thank you for choosing to watch what I publish... and good luck to you!
